We are more than conquerors
through him that loved us.

Romans 8:37

"The enemy is behind us.
The enemy is in front of us.
The enemy is to the right
and the left of us.
They can't get away this time!"

General Douglas McArthur

"My words are Spirit and Life, and not to be weighed by the understanding of man. They are not to be drawn forth for vain approbation, but to be heard in silence, and to be received with all humility and great affection."
Thomas à Kempis

My Jesus, I Love Thee
"I'll love thee in life,
I will love thee in death;
And praise thee as long
as thou lendest me breath;
And say when the death dew
lies cold on my brow,
If ever I loved thee,
My Jesus tis now."

The Word of God well understood and religiously obeyed is the shortest route to spiritual perfection. And we must not select a few favorite passages to the exclusion of others. Nothing less than a whole Bible can make a whole Christian.

"Ye worship ye know not what... the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."

Be Careful Little Eyes

Be careful little eyes, what you see.
Be careful little eyes, what you see.
There's a Father up above,
looking down in tender love,
So be careful little eyes, what you see.

Be careful little ears what you hear
Be careful little ears what you hear
There's a Father up above,
looking down in tender love,
Be careful little ears what you hear

Be careful little mouth what you say...
Be careful little mouth what you say...
There's a Father up above,
looking down in tender love,
Be careful little mouth what you say...

Be careful little hands, what you touch...
Be careful little hands, what you touch...
There's a Father up above,
looking down in tender love,
Be careful little hands, what you touch...

Be careful little feet, where you go...
Be careful little feet, where you go...
There's a Father up above,
looking down in tender love,
Be careful little feet, where you go...

If You're Happy and You know It

If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands,
If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands,
If you're happy and you know it, then your life will surely show it,
If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands!

If you're happy and you know it, stomp your feet...
If you're happy and you know it, shake your head...
If you're happy and you know it, turn around...
If you're happy and you know it, touch your toes...

Jesus Loves Me
Text: Anna B. Warner in 1860,
and David Rutherford McGuire.
Music: William B. Bradbury, 1862

Jesus loves me! This I know
For the Bible tells me so.
Little ones to Him belong;
They are weak but He is strong.

Refrain
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.

Jesus loves me! He who died,
Heaven's gate to open wide.
He will wash away my sin,
Let His little child come in.

Refrain

Jesus loves me! loves me still,
When I'm very weak and ill.
From His shining throne on high,
Comes to watch me where I lie.

Refrain

Jesus loves me! He will stay,
Close beside me all the way;
He's prepared a home for me,
And some day His face I'll see.

Refrain

Jesus Loves The Little Children
Text: C. Herbert Woolston
Music: George F. Root (1820-1895)

1. Jesus loves the little children,
All the children of the world.
Red and yellow, black and white,
They are precious in His sight.
Jesus loves the little children of the world.

2. Jesus calls the children dear,
"Come to me and never fear,
For I love the little children of the world;
I will take you by the hand,
Lead you to the better land,
For I love the little children of the world."
Refrain

3. Jesus loves the little children,
All the children of the world.
Red and yellow, black and white,
All are precious in His sight,
Jesus loves the little children of the world.

4. [Alternate refrain:
Jesus died for all the children,
All the children of the world.
Red and yellow, black and white,
All are precious in His sight,
Jesus died for all the children of the world.]

5. Jesus is the Shepherd true,
And He'll always stand by you,
For He loves the little children of the world;
He's a Savior great and strong,
And He'll shield you from the wrong,
For He loves the little children of the world.
Refrain

6. I am coming, Lord, to Thee,
And Your soldier I will be,
For You love the little children of the world;
And Your cross I'll always bear,
And for You I'll do and dare,
For You love the little children of the world.
Refrain

The Wise Man and the Foolish Man

The wise man built his house upon a rock
The wise man built his house upon a rock
The wise man built his house upon a rock
And the rains came tumbling down
The rains came down and the floods came up
The rains came down and the floods came up
The rains came down and the floods came up
And the house on the rock stood firm
But the foolish man built his house upon the sand
But the foolish man built his house upon the sand
But the foolish man built his house upon the sand
And the rains came tumbling down
The rains came down and the floods came up
The rains came down and the floods came up
The rains came down and the floods came up
And the house on the sand went ploof
So be wise and build your house upon the rock
Be wise and build your house upon the rock
Be wise and build your house upon the rock
On the rock of the Lord Jesus Christ

This is my Father's World?

This is my Father's World, and to my listening ears,
All nature sings and round me rings the music of the spheres.

This is my Father's World, I rest me in the thought,
Of rocks and trees, of skies and seas, His hands the wonders wrought.

This is the Day

This is the day, this is the day
That the Lord hath made, that the Lord hath made.
We will rejoice, we will rejoice
and be glad in it, and be glad in it.
This is the day that the Lord hath made,
We will rejoice and be glad in it,
This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made,
That the Lord hath made.

This is the day, this is the day
When He rose again, when He rose again;
We will rejoice, we will rejoice
and be glad in it, and be glad in it.
This is the day when He rose again,
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
This is the day, this is the day
When He rose again.

This is the day, this is the day
When the Spirit came, when the Spirit came.
We will rejoice, we will rejoice
and be glad in it, and be glad in it.
This is the day when the Spirit came,
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
This is the day, this is the day
When the Spirit came.

This Little Light of Mine
Text: Arthur Loes
Music: Harry Dixon

1. This little light of mine,
I'm gonna let it shine.
This little light of mine,
I'm gonna let it shine.
This little light of mine,
I'm gonna let it shine,
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.

2. Hide it under a bushel, NO!
I'm gonna let it shine
Hide it under a bushel? No!
I'm gonna let it shine
Hide it under a bushel? No!
I'm gonna let it shine
Let it shine,
Let it shine,
Let it shine.

3. Won't let Satan blow it out,
I'm gonna let it shine.
Won't let Satan blow it out;
I'm gonna let it shine.
Won't let Satan blow it out;
I'm gonna let it shine.
Let it shine,
Let it shine,
Let it shine...

4. Let it shine 'till Jesus comes,
I'm gonna let it shine.
Let it shine till Jesus comes,
I'm gonna let it shine
Let it shine till Jesus comes,
I'm gonna let it shine
Let it shine,
Let it shine,
Let it shine.

Trust And Obey

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.
Refrain
Trust and obey, for there's no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away;
Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.
Refrain

Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,
But is blessed if we trust and obey.
Refrain

But we never can prove the delights of His love
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.
Refrain

Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet.
Or we'll walk by His side in the way.
What He says we will do, where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.
Refrain

Zacchaeus was a wee little man

Zacchaeus was a wee little man, and a wee little man was he.
He climbed up in a sycamore tree, for the Lord he wanted to see.

And as the Savior passed him by, He looked up in the tree,
And he said, Zacchaeus, you come down from there;
For I'm going to your house today, for I'm going to your house today.

Zacchaeus came down from that tree, as happy as he could be,
He gave his money to the poor, and said: What a better man I'll be.

Genuine Worship   "In the end, worship can never be a performance, something you're pretending or putting on. It's got to be an overflow of your heart... Worship is about getting personal with God, drawing close to God."   Matt Redman
