Contains items of displays that are full and rich of Biblical meanings behind them.

United States Capital Washington D. C. Displays

The Library of Congress

Overlooking the Main Reading Room of the Library of Congress, the bronze statue of Moses, the two tablets of the Ten Commandments, one in either hand, represents "Religion" - the Old Testament; while Paul, the Apostle to the gentiles, represents the New Testament.

In the magnificent dome of the Main Reading Room, the painting entitled "Judea" portrays "Religion".

A young Israeli woman raises her hands in prayer and praise to Almighty God, the Ten Commandments by her side and the Old Testament law in her lap.

Above her words from The Holy Bible - Micha 6:8 "What doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God."

In the Representatives' reading room is a ceiling painting representing the seven "lights." One of these "lights" is the "Light of Truth" with the Spirit of Truth trampling the dragon of Error with figures in the corner holding a The Holy Bible.

On the walls of The Library of Congress, There are numerous quotations, such as
"The Heavens declare the Glory of God, and the firmament showeth His handiwork" (from Psalm 19:1)
"the light shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehendeth it not." (from John 1:5)

The U.S. Supreme Court

There in the Chamber of the United States Supreme Court , above the Justices' bench and the head of the Chief Justice, is a sculpture made of white marble depicting The Ten Commandments. Each session of the court closes with the words,"God save the United States and the Honorable Court."

The National Archives

Upon entering the National Archives, every visitor that enters to view the original Constitution and Declaration of Independence. Will see a large circular, bronze seal embossed in the marble floor.
In predominance at the top of the circle are two stone tablets - representing The Ten Commandments given to Moses on Mount Sinai.

The Capital Building

Every session of the house and senate begins with prayer.
On the walls, of the both the senate and house of representatives meet. "In God We Trust" is inscribed.
As visitor's will see many Biblical displays at the Capital, as one may use the undrground subway, once more there in the basement, is a sculpture of Moses.

The Washington Monument:

The metal cap inscription says "Praise be to God." Lining the walls of the stairwell are many Biblical phrases including: "Search the scriptures," "Holiness to the Lord," "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."

Lincoln Memorial

There for all to see are, the following words inscribed into the walls.

"...That this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."

At the opposite end, on the north wall, his second Inaugural Address alludes to "God", "the bible", "providence," "the Almighty," and "divine attributes."

It then continues:
""As was said 3000 years ago, so it still must be said, ‘The judgements of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.’’"

Jefferson Memorial

The words of Thomas Jefferson:
"God who gave us life gave us liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, this his justice cannot sleep forever."

DID YOU KNOW?
As you walk up the steps to the building which houses the U.S. Supreme Court you can see near the top of the building a row of the world's law givers and each one is facing one in the middle who is facing forward with a full frontal view...
It is Moses and he is holding the Ten Commandments!

As you enter the Supreme Court courtroom, the two huge oak doors
have the Ten Commandments engraved on each lower portion of each door.

As you sit inside the courtroom, you can see the wall,
right above where the Supreme Court judges sit, a display of the Ten Commandments!

There are Bible verses etched in stone all over
the Federal Buildings and Monuments in Washington, D.C.

James Madison, the fourth president, known as "The Father of Our Constitution" made the following statement:
"We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God."

DID YOU KNOW?
Patrick Henry, that patriot and Founding Father of our country said:
"It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here."

DID YOU KNOW?
Every session of Congress begins with a prayer by a paid preacher,
whose salary has been paid by the taxpayer since 1777.

Fifty-two of the 55 founders of the Constitution were members of the established orthodox churches in the colonies.

Thomas Jefferson worried that the Courts would overstep their authority
and instead of interpreting the law would begin making law...
an oligarchy ...the rule of few over many.
